At the present time there is no national accrediting agency that approves physical therapy continuing education. Many state boards will accept courses that are accredited by another agency or board.

My licensing agency will accept courses that are accredited by another agency or board. Is Wild Iris an accredited continuing education provider?
Yes. Wild Iris is recognized by the Physical Therapy Board of California as a Continuing Competency Approval Agency, and we are accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation (ANCC). ANCC accreditation is accepted by nursing licensing boards in all 50 states and in U.S. Territories.

I am licensed in Oregon and am required to take CE about pain and pain management. Is your course approved for Physical Therapists?
Yes. Oregon does not require pre-approval for physical therapy continuing education courses, but the course must be approved by a recognized health-related organization. Wild Iris Medical Education is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. Pain Management for Oregon Health Professionals meets the State of Oregon's requirements for pain management education.
Do you report to CE Broker (Florida)?
Yes. We automatically report the course completions of Florida license holders to the Florida Department of Health via the CE Broker system.
Important Note regarding CE Broker: It's important that you include your license prefix in front of your license number, ie, PT123456 (no spaces) in order for your course completion to be processed by CE Broker. If you are unsure of your license number, go to the Florida Department of Health License Verification website.
I don't have my license yet. Can I take your courses?
Yes. All of our Certificates of Completion include accreditation and approval statements specific to the Wild Iris course you take, and the course may meet initial licensure requirements. Please check with your licensing agency to confirm acceptability if you are taking the course for this purpose.
Can I take your physical therapy courses if I'm not a PT or PTA?
Yes. Our courses are available to anyone, including students, caregivers, healthcare professionals of any designation, and the general public who are interested in the topics we offer.
How long do your courses take to finish?
Physical therapy courses are designed to take 60 minutes per contact hour to complete. After you have passed the test, registering for your certificate takes about 10 minutes.
