Are the New York State mandatory courses only for nurses?No. The New York courses are accepted by the NYS Department of Education for any healthcare professional who is required to take the course. How long does it take for the NY State Education Department to get my results?A report is sent to the NYS Department of Health within 48 hours after successful completion of the course. Do I have to be a nurse to take the Washington State HIV courses?No. Use the links in the left column to select your profession and view the full course list to find which courses are available to you. Do you report to CE Broker in Florida?Yes, an electronic report is sent to CE Broker within 48 hours after successful completion of the course. What are the continuing education requirements for nurses with a Florida license?Two contact hours on prevention of medical errors, 2 contact hours on domestic violence every third license renewal, and 1 contact hour on HIV/AIDS prior to the first license renewal.
